Sound Dhaba shines a spotlight on vibrant musical traditions of Africa, Asia, the Americas, and the Caribbean, and tracing their echoes throughout the Black Diaspora across cultures and centuries.

We celebrate stories of migration, resistance, cultural exchange, and contemporary imagination, particularly through Black intersections with Indigenous and European traditions, and their profound impact on the popular music of today.
